Anche se nell'ultimo FullMoon video Peter annuncia la sua "vocazione pantafolaia" piuttosto che portare in tour SMB Some people from further a field have asked why we’re not going there. I’m still trying to have a family life at the same time, so I don’t really want to be a road dog and come out on tour even though I’d love to visit a lot more countries. subito dopo fa un'eccezione: There is one exception to that rule, which is a very quick visit to down to Melbourne… That’ll be in November with the band. That’s what they would like to see down there.
Dunque a novembre Australia e Nuova Zelanda, tour suffragato dal fatto che Peter è stao invitato ufficialmente per le celebrazioni del 150° anniversario delle "Melbourne Cup Celebrations", una tradizionale corsa di cavalli[:-j] che vedrà il 6 novembre 2010 la chiusura dei festeggiamenti.

Peter Gabriel has cancelled his upcoming Australian show after poor ticket sales.


The tour comes off the back of a string of disasters for promoter Andrew McManus following on from the New Kids On The Black cancellation, poor ticket sales for Dr Phil and hideous reviews of the expensive Whitney Houston shows.

Instead of completely cancelling the event, McManus will continue on with the show scheduled for November 1 in Melbourne with acts including Daryl Braithwaite, Blue King Brown, Danielle Spencer and with Brian Wilson replacing Peter Gabriel.

The official reason for the Gabriel withdrawal is “scheduling issues”.

Ho letto anch'io sta cosa della cancellazione dello show australiano - non tour, eh, uno spettacolo solo: "his upcoming Australian show".

Anche in questo caso però il titolo è un'interpretazione di Paul Cashmere (un giornalista spesso accusato di essere troppo morbido [;)][:-D]), visto che come dice lui stesso la motivazione ufficiale è una concomitanza di eventi - suona strano anche a me, visto che di sto concerto se ne parla da mesi. [:-I]
