More Japanese Steve Hackett Mini-LP Sleeve CDs To Be Reissued

WHD Entertainment in Japan will be reissuing many of the Steve Hackett titles that were not part of the previous series of mini-LP sleeve CDs issued by the label exclusively in Japan as limited editions on June 25, 2008. These titles include Tribute (catalog #IECP-10147), Genesis Revisited (catalog #IECP-10148), Tokyo Tapes (catalog #IECP-20132), Somewhere in South America (catalog #IECP-20134), and Hungarian Horizons (catalog #IECP-20136). There is also talk of a possible new 14-disc CD + DVD box set (catalog #IEZP-6) exclusive to Japan! More on that when I get the details, but it will probably surface in June as well. Pre-orders for all titles are expected shortly.

whd entertainment ripubblicherà in Japan il 25 gugno 2008 molti titoli di SH che non facevano parte della serie con copertina stile minilp già ivi pubblicati. Questi titoi includono Tribute,Revisited,TokioTapes, S. in South America e Hungarian horizons. i parla anche di un box set con 1 cd + 1 dvd (di cui parlo altrove, ndr).....[;)]

Ma possibile che in Giappone esce di tutto? Remaster a 24 bit stampati su gold disc, ristampe di dischi introvabili, molto spesso con mini-lp sleeve che sono bellissimi invece degli orridissimi jewel case..

Qui in Europa, ma soprattutto in Italia che dovrebbe essere la patria della musica non si trova un cazzo o quasi.. Ma porcaccia la trota!

Non posso mica spendermi tutto in dischi!
Le ristampe rimangono in giappone, i costi dell'importazione sono spettinanti, meglio, meglio.

WHD Entertainment in Japan have released a beautiful but strictly limited edition 15-disc box set featuring card sleeve reissues of Steve's Live Archive albums. With only 500 individually numbered pieces manufactured it's a genuine collector's item!

Here's some more of what's in the box...

* Card signed by Steve including the box's unique number
* Bonus 'bootleg' DVD (Region 0 / NTSC) - 'Steve Hackett In New York 1992', recorded on 18th August 1992 at the Bottom Line club
* Miniature replica of the 1981 European tour programme
