Una delle domande: Si racconta che PLEASE DON'T TOUCH fu suonata dai Genesis, ai tempi di Wind&Wuthering, prima che tu lasciassi la band. E' vero? Esiste un demo?

Steve: E' vero che PDT fu suonata dai Genesis di W&W ma la cosa non ebbe seguito, resta solo qualche registrazione su cassetta, cosa che Phil all'epoca usava sempre fare; registrare le prove.
Per cui lui è l'unico sul pianeta ad avere le versioni di PDT.


"It's quite true that theme was rehearsed by Genesis at the time of the Wind and Wuthering sessions, but we never got further than the odd rehearsal cassette, which Phil used to oversee. So, he's the only bloke on the planet who might even vaguely have some dodgy versions of what was to become a great number and stage favourite."

Scusa Vince, avevo appena letto l'intervista e non mi ero preoccupato di vedere se c'era già un post che ne parlava.


Ad ogni modo è risaputo che W&W avrebbe dovuto essere un'album doppio, con una versione estesa di Please don't touch e quei trem brani finiti nell'EP di Spot the Pigeon.
